Welcome to Noah's Delicatessen, where every meal tells a story of passion, community, and innovation. Nestled in the heart of Weston, MO, our journey began as Noah's Cupboard, a boutique restaurant founded by Executive Chef Nicholas Martinkovic. With a vision to break down the barriers between guests and the kitchen, Noah's Cupboard quickly became a beloved culinary destination, known for its unique dining experience and commitment to sustainability.

Meet Our Founder, Nicholas Martinkovic

Nick grew up in upstate New York in a family that loved loud, lively gatherings and traditional meals. Influenced by his grandmothers—one Italian and one Slovakian—his passion for cooking began early, stirred amidst stories and traditions in their kitchens. This zest for connecting people through food carried him through a youthful adventure following the band Phish, a journey that reinforced his culinary heritage by cooking on the road. After culinary school at Johnson & Wales and diverse experiences from Wales to France, and at top U.S. restaurants, Nick's vision for a unique dining experience was realized in Andrea’s hometown of Weston. Here, he introduced the philosophy of Mottainai in cooking, emphasizing respect for ingredients and minimizing waste.

As the community and business grew, so did their dreams. While they cherished the intimate dinners and the connections built at Noah's Cupboard, life’s rhythms and the needs of their family began to reshape the vision. Striving for a lifestyle that aligned more closely with family time and wishing to touch more lives with their culinary creations, they decided it was time for a change. Thus, Noah's Delicatessen was born.

Noah's Delicatessen represents a new chapter, maintaining the core values that defined Noah's Cupboard while adapting to the evolving needs of a growing family and community.  The transition to a delicatessen will offer a broader range of culinary delights that cater to more people and fit more seamlessly into their daily lives. There is still a strong emphasis to sustainability, local sourcing, and the culinary creativity that has won accolades and the hearts of many.
